When Mom, Dora Johnson, was sick and at the end of her life,
Grant would spend his time at night putting together Indian pots
to pass the time while he took care of his Mom.
Uncle Keith had dug up the pieces of pottery years before and he gave Grant the pieces to one pot.
The deal between Uncle Keith and Grant was that if Grant could put the pot together then Uncle Keith would give Grant another pot.
This plan worked really well for the first three pots.
On the fourth pot, Grant could not put it together.
The pieces were not to a single pot but instead were halves of two different pots.
Well, that brought an end to putting pots together.
Here are the three pots that were put together while taking care of Mom at night.
