Camping on the Mogollon

As a family we took a camping trip to the Mogollon Rim area.  

In the first picture, we had stopped at a scenic view pull off 

to take a break, stretch our legs, and take some pictures.  

In the picture below (left to right) is Mom (Dora Johnson) holding Ray, Gerry holding LaRee, Carolyn is in front, Grant is behind and Kathy is on the right.

Mom and Grant are at the campsite preparing to cook.

Ray escaped and Mom had to run him down to feed him lunch.
She feed him where she caught him in the middle to the dirt road.
LaRee followed the action and was probably hoping to get feed too.

This is the meadow where we camped.

We stopped to take a picture on a big tree that had been cropped down.
Grant and Ray are on the stump.
On the log is Dad (Gerald Turley), LaRee, Carolyn, Kathy and Gerry.

We stopped and had lunch in the middle of the dirt road.
This photo was taken to document Ray trying to eat chile by biting into a brick of chile.
Imagine that.
Gerry, Ray, Grant and Mom are identifiable.

Ray being Ray is in the middle of a field.
You will see this same outfit in another post where he is all dressed up to go to church
so it must have been his favorite outfit.

Dad is holding up and showing off Ray once we got home from the camp out.  

Again, what a happy boy.

This is Dad and how he looked when we got back from the camping trip.  

I think Mom was taking a photo of his beard.  

We were living at the 718 Flora Street house.
