Dad made Grant a pair of holsters for his guns. Dad did a lot of leather work when we were little. In this photo you can see this holster that Dad made. Unfortunately, Grant left the holster out in the rain one day which really hurt Dad's feeling. Grant feels sorry and bad to this day for this act. The two other kids in this photo were the Porter children. Gerry is the second from the left and Grant is one the right. The only other thing in the larger photo is the old hand-pushed lawn cutter in the background. The window in the photo is on the west end of the house where Mom and Dad's bedroom was.
