Grandpa Johnson (James Gerald Johnson Sr.) owned a donkey for a while that he let his grandchildren ride. This is when he lived at 1904 Meadowridge Road in Prescott.
In these photos you can see a gray car. It was the foreign car that Dad (Gerald Turley) owned. It had a summer roof and Dad would let us stick our heads out of it when he was driving. The white car in the photos was owned by Uncle Orville.
In the first photo we have Ray taking a turn on the donkey.

In the background is the back door of Grandpa and Grandma's home.
The kitchen was in the right corner of the house, the little window was to the bathroom, and on the left side was their bedroom. The little building was the pump house or well house.
