In 1967, just before the Christmas break, it snowed 4 feet in one storm. If you talk about the snow storm in Prescott, this is the storm you are talking about. The school closed so we had a longer break for Christmas. Traffic came to a stop and the stuff in the grocery stores sold out. During this time we used our food storage to live on. Many roofs of businesses and houses collapsed due to the weight of the snow. We shoveled the snow off our roof and due to that George, our dog, could look directly into the kitchen window at us. It took weeks to remove the snow from downtown Prescott. Here is Grant digging out the family car.
