Older Sister and Younger Brother

Gerry and Grant have always been close to each other.  They shared a strong friendship and love for each other throughout their lives.  These pictures have captured those feelings to some degree.

This picture was taken on the top of Mingus Mountain at what was known as Potato Patch.

Here they are in front of the family station wagon on vacation, I believe in Nevada.  Mom is in the background pregnant with Kathy at the time.

This picture was taken where the tennis courts or softball field at Prescott High School is now.  The Blakely helicopter would have a day which they would take kids up for a ride.  Blakely was a gas station in town where you could earn glasses if you bought so much gas.  Gerry still has a set of Blakely glasses to this day.

Alair Tenney is the lady in the picture.  She was dad's secretary when he first started out as an accountant.  Alair married Lyman Tenney, a brother to Boyd Tenney.  The round rock building that can be seen in the background is in the cemetery.  It is still there today.

Gerry and Grant in the Sunday best.  Based on the dress, I would say that Gerry is 14 (because of the heels) and Grant is a dorky deacon.

Best bet is, Gerry is a senior in high school and Grant is a sophomore.
