Mom and Dad took a trip with the M-Men and Gleamers to the temple. These pictures could be part of that trip or not. These pictures are of Mom (Dora) at the Los Angeles temple. Also included are Lynn and Jean Porter, who were very good friends to Dad and Mom. Lynn Porter served as one of Dad's counselors when he was the bishop. At the time of these pictures the Porters lived in the Miller Valley area, a block and a half due south of the Ruth Street Chapel.
Mom (Dora Johnson) standing with Jean Porter. What is interesting in this picture is the purse mom is holding. Dad made this leather purse for mom. The purse had draw strings at the top, it was not a very thick purse but it was beautiful.
