In Argentina

This photo was taken in front of our pension in the Arrodillo area of Rosario, Argentina.  The nurse that gave me the shot for when I was sick lived in the house at the corner of the block.  She rented to the other companionship of elders.  We lived with her sister and mother.  The sister was named Coca, which I thought was a strange name.  It was probably a nickname. The high wall you can see on the right side of the picture is an enclosed convent for nuns.  Some times we would pull ourselves up so we could see what the nuns were doing on the other side.  One time they were having a marshmallow roast and another time the were singing songs at a bonfire.

This is how I looked when I was sick and had to stay in.  I was showing off my facial hair growth.
