El Centro

As a family we went to California to visit Alaire and Lyman Tenney.  While we were there we went swimming in El Centro.  Looking back on the photos it seems like more of a swimming area than a pool.  There were inner tubes for the swimmers to use and there was a slide that can be seen in the photos.  The photos show the 4 older children, Gerry, Grant, Kathy and Carolyn.

Mom is helping Carolyn to go down the slide in the photo below.  There is a little girl on the slide with her but I do not think that it is Kathy because the swim suits look a little different.

This photo is Grant going down the slide in this photo but the photo is out of focus.  So this photo will give you a better image as to what the swimming area was like.
