Buster was the best dog ever.
Buster began as Uncle Arvill and Aunt Merle's dog. However, after they babysat Carolyn, Buster would not stay at their house but would run away and come to our house instead. Finally, they decided to give Mom and Dad the dog.
Buster had a deformed lower jaw which caused him to look like an incredibly mean dog. Grandpa (Ormus Flake) Turley would not get out of his car if Buster happened to be in the front yard because he was afraid of Buster.
Buster was the best babysitter ever. Our yard didn't need a fence since Buster made sure we didn't leave the yard. Buster would wander the neighborhood and there were at least two little old ladies who fed him on a regular basis.

In the bottom photo, Buster is playing with Dad in the backyard at the house at 718 Flora St. in Prescott.
