Dad, Gerald Turley, was the driving force behind the establishment of the Boy Scouts Bradshaw Trail Hikes. The hikes covered the mountains surrounding Prescott. They included Maverick Ridge, Sierra Prieta, Granite Mountain, Mingus Mountain and Volunteer Canyon. This was the first recognized Boy Scout hike of these trails. We hike the Volunteer Canyon trail. As you can tell by the pictures, it was cold. Rudy (an Indian Foster Brother), Grant and Gerald Turley are the individuals within the pictures.
