"Bud" (James Gerald Johnson Sr.) and Hazel were married the 11th of April in 1918 in Cochise County, Arizona. Hazel was a half year older than Bud with her being born in January and Bud being born in June in the year 1899. Since they were married in the month of April, Hazel was 19 and Bud was only 18 years old.
Just a small note about Hazel's birthday - she shared her birthday (January 22nd) with her great grandson, G.T.
Exactly fifteen months after their wedding day, Hazel gave birth to James Gerald Johnson Jr., known as Gerald. Gerald being born the 11th of August of 1919. This picture is of the young couple with their young son.
